totally the art! the story does not show the end of the book and it is scary, but the artwork is really super! when i looked at this the first time i thought it was all photos of the places. does anybody know how he created the pictures of the orb? they look like they were done with an airbrush
laura: that is a great piece of art but i think the drawing of the lighthouse is amazing -- it looks like a real one with a huge black ball hiding in the shadows. this book would look so amazing if it was animated in flash
Was this book illustrated by Chris Van Allsburg? It looks like The Mystery of Harry Burdick and his other black and white illustration?
Is Chris Van Allsburg being credited as an inspiration to this book?
